I received a form letter yesterday from the hospice agency that took care of my mother in the last days. It said “you may be surprised by feelings of disbelief or ‘grief attacks’ that you thought would be over by now. Relatively small things have the ability to remind us of the ongoing importance of the deceased in our lives”. Was timely as that was exactly what was occurring. So the words were comforting. As if thousands and millions of persons have travelled this road and know the signs. A google map of grief.
